WINTER WALK

Winter cometh cold bringeth
Nights dark and mornings gloom
Trees shadowy in the mist
Sky unseen in the fog
Wind cometh bringing chills
Facing this cold i feel

Walking down the wintry night
Thoughts reminiscent in my mind
Past before my own eyes
Future beholds in my sight
Silent sigh I give in joy
Smile weakly watch the day

Hopes and wishes all are true
Family, friends all I have
Deeds and actions still to do
Many I have in days to come
So wish me in the wintry cold
A gentle touch with blessings told.
